Luke 23:39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Mighty Father in Heaven, Holy, Holy, Holy is your name. Please forgive us of our sins, and help us to prepare for the coming Kingdom; Your Holy Kingdom. May you allow Holy Spirit to come and speak to us through your word. In the Mighty name of JESUS. Amen.
There were two criminals on the cross and each on the opposite side of JESUS representing two churches. The bible says in Romans 3:23, that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD. Before GOD we’re all criminals, but THE LORD laid a way for redemption and you can be sure that way was a blood stained path. John 3:16, because mankind was fallen THE LORD sent HIS own son to us, that when we will hear HIS voice we may come out of ignorance and Repent, and be Holy.
The bible says in Luke 23:39; that the first thief hurled insults towards the Messiah. We see doubt in him, the same tactics the devil used to deceive Eve and Adam. These thief is not a pagan or any other idol worshiper, but its the church. The cross symbolizes the church. Him being on the cross, symbolizes an apostate church; these church received salvation but they ended up rejecting the way of the cross. He tells THE LORD save yourself and us from the cross. Attempting to stop the Messiah from completing the mission on the cross. This would have meant the entire world would go to Hell. He said save yourself, and then us which means that these church after being exposed to the word for along time, they knew only the Messiah can save them. What is contrary is the way, through the way of man. The wisdom of man. The way of the cross was so painful that these church rejects it.
Mathew 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
When Peter tried to stop the Messiah from the way to the Cross, the Holy GOD rebuked him of having the mind of men; which is satanic before GOD. Even the Messiah when HE was praying in the garden of Gethsemane in Mathew 26:36-39, and he asked GOD the father if it is possible that the cup of HIS wrath be removed, not on HIS will but on the will of GOD THE FATHER. The outcomes makes us understand that it was THE will of GOD for HIM to be crushed.
Isaiah 53:10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
It was the will of GOD, that JESUS be crushed for your own salvation. Ezekiel 33:11. When THE LORD thought of the fire in Hell, it is clear HE doesn’t desire any of HIS creation that HE gave HIS own breath to head there.
The church called by the name of Christ JESUS whey are you also insulting THE LORD? Why are you insulting the Messiah? When you wallow in sin, are you saying that the first Calvary wasn’t enough? When you walk in sexual sin, sexual lust, idolatry, the love of money and the things of the world, are you not insulting your saviour. The priests, Bishops, evangelists, why are you insulting GOD? When you are preaching prosperity, rejecting the PROPHETS OF GOD, and they have come with all the signs, why are you rejecting GOD? Why are you living your life as if fighting THE will of GOD?
Isaiah 45:9 “Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands’?
Hell is real.
Luke 23:40, and the other church(on the right hand side Mathew 25:34) asked the other church that was on the left hand side of JESUS, “Don’t you fear GOD?” Proverbs 8:13, the fear of GOD is to hate all evil. Meaning, when the church is walking in sin they are throwing insults at JESUS, their MAKER. The fear of GOD is to give HIM Glory HE due deserves Revelation 14:6-7, when the worshipers of GOD are walking in nudity in the church is that giving GOD glory? No! Of course No! When they are legalizing homosexuality and gay marriages in the church, is that giving GOD Glory? This days they insulting JESUS at the pulpit! Aaaaaaaaih! What fallen generation are we?
And the church on the right hand side of THE LORD, told the King, remember us in your Kingdom to come. But when you look at the church they are living here on earth as is its their eternal home, why are you insulting THE LORD? Tell me now. When you look at the church you grieve, because they have settled on the earth preaching the gospel of prosperity? (Luke 17) the church is caught up in the affairs of the world, buying and selling, giving each other in marriage, building, and yet the flood is coming, and yet fire is coming, the wrath of GOD is coming. They have rejected those that are trumpeting the coming of the Messiah with Power.
The church, I cannot understand, why are you insulting the Messiah?
And he said, we are punished justly for what our deeds deserved. Meaning a Holy Church knows they cannot mock God, you will reap what you planted. But when you look at the church, they are living as if, God is not seeing them. When it comes to entry, THE LORD look at the deeds. Faith you received, what about your deeds.
And he did not tell THE LORD please save us from this cross. Because a Holy church understood the only way to heaven is the Cross of JESUS. Denial, persecution, insult, being mocked. But when you look at the church, they are trying to fit into the systems of the world! Aaaaaaih! Why are you insulting GOD? When you look at the church, the way to the cross is tiresome to them, they want to abandon the way of the cross. They want to fit in with other religions. Why are we insulting GOD?
Matthew 16:24 (New International Version) Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Mathew 5:11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Church of Christ we must repent. We must stop this insults.
Hebrews 6:4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen[c] away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[e] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
